It's Wednesday, November 4th. Readwise opens an ebook store that shares your reading with your AI agents, and Wix introduces Studio Two, an editor where AI and hand design work side by side. Plus nine open AI roles across labs, industry and policy.

In Today’s Top Tools, we spotlight some of the most innovative, creative AI apps that we recommend adding to your stack.

TOOL SPOTLIGHT

1️⃣ Readwise Books Turns Your Reading Into Data Your Agents Can Use

❝

Readwise Books is a new ebook store and reading app from the team behind Readwise and Reader. It tracks every reading session and opens your library to AI agents through an API and MCP server.

About the Tool

Readwise launched Readwise Books on October 28, pitching it as a cross between the Kindle and Goodreads apps. The store carries ebooks from all Big 5 publishers and works on e-ink readers like Onyx BOOX.

  • Track each reading session automatically and watch your stats build, which Readwise calls "the Strava of reading."

  • Ask Ghostreader for session recaps, definitions and translations on uploaded EPUBs and books from opted-in publishers, starting with HarperCollins.

  • Connect your own agents to your library and highlights through a public API and MCP server.

The app is free on iOS and Google Play in an invite-only beta, and Readwise subscribers already have access. Book sales are US only for now.

❝

Most ebook stores keep your highlights and reading habits locked inside their own app. Readwise Books hands that data to the agents you already use, which matters if you research, write or teach from what you read. AI features on store books depend on publisher opt-in, so coverage starts thin, and text-to-speech and AI on uploaded books may go premium after the beta. If you already pay for Readwise, point the MCP server at one book before moving your whole library.

2️⃣ Wix Studio Two Lets You Design With AI And By Hand In One Editor

❝

Wix Studio Two is a new website editor that puts an AI agent, a freeform design canvas and a code layer in one place. It is rolling out to Wix Partners first, with a gradual rollout to all users and no date given.

About the Tool

Wix introduced Studio Two on November 2. You can ask its AI agent, Aria 2.0, to generate and refine a site, then drag any element around the canvas to fix the details yourself.

  • Generate a site from a prompt, images or a live URL, then save your standards as Skills that Aria 2.0 reuses.

  • Customize Wix Stores and Wix Bookings with drag-and-drop components tied to live data.

  • Export a site as a React project, in beta, for Claude, Codex or Cursor, and let AI agents manage it through MCP.

It's rolling out to Wix Partners first, then gradually to all users, with no date yet. Site styles and the Ani-mate animation tool are marked coming soon.

❝

Most AI site builders make you choose: accept what a prompt gives you, or design every pixel yourself. Studio Two tries to drop that choice, which is worth watching even if you never write code. The catch is timing. Unless you are a Wix Partner, you will likely wait, and several features are not live yet. If your small business site runs on Wix Harmony, Wix says a Partner can open it in Studio Two and keep going.

🎬 How Do I Make Videos and Ads with Higgsfield?

Today I'm sharing how I make videos and ads with Higgsfield, which puts top image and video models in one place, and how my pipeline works.

It runs in four acts, with a human gate between them:

  • Decide. A brief: one action, one line to remember, one audience.

  • Make. Copy first, then stills, then video made from the approved stills.

  • Distribute. Placements first, then a cut for each.

  • Learn. Measure what worked and feed it into the next brief.

QA sits inside Make: the same character in every frame, lips on every word, a human-sounding voice, and a first shot that works on mute.

To show you, I'm testing it right now with my GitHub avatar as the example.

Here's every step:

  • Storyboard. Five shots plus an end card, one beat each.

  • Lock the character. One description (messy bun, black hoodie, green glow), pasted word for word into every prompt with the avatar attached.

  • Stills. A top image model made each shot. After two touch-ups, all six went on one contact sheet.

  • Animate. Seedance 2.0 inside Higgsfield gave each still one camera move.

  • QA. Face, bun and hoodie frame by frame, lip sync, voice, and a watch on mute.

  • Edit. Captions and the end card go on last.

Storyboard: six approved stills for the intro

Paste this prompt into ChatGPT or Claude to plan your own ad:

❝

Here's my [product] and my character [attach]. Write a character description to paste into every prompt, then a 5-shot storyboard plus end card for a 15-second ad. Per shot: a still prompt, one camera move, the sound. One shot gets a spoken line under 10 words. List captions separately for the edit.

For more ideas, awesome-image-video-prompts has 950+ video prompts, 124 of them for ads. My ad pipeline skill is free on joydong.org.

❝

Pro tip: Put the human gate before the video spend. Stills are cheap to redo, so approve them on one contact sheet first.
