🔧 Grok Bot Gets Its Own Cloud Computer

SpacexAI launched Grok Bot in beta on August 11. Each Bot has a cloud computer, can sign into tools and websites, works across apps, and keeps the same conversation between desktop and iOS. SpacexAI says its own teams have used Bots for sales outbound, marketing campaigns, office operations, and bug fixes.

Teach a recurring routine by letting the Bot watch your process, then correct the saved workflow.
Coordinate specialist Bots in shared threads or group chats, with each Bot passing context and ownership through Grok Bot.

The whole trick is unglamorous: the Bot stays logged in. Most agent demos fall apart the second they hit a login screen, so giving each one its own cloud computer and its own saved sign-ins is what moves it from a chat you babysit to something that finishes the job. An agent that can get into your tools and work while you're asleep is only as safe as the moments it stops to ask, and that's the number I'd watch: how often a Bot checks in versus how often you wish it had.

⚡ Notion Adds Custom Agents To The Share Menu

Notion Agent is the on-demand layer: it can build or edit pages and databases, search Notion, connected tools, and the web, analyze PDFs, schedule meetings, and follow personal instructions under the user's permissions. Custom Agents take recurring work from schedules and Notion or Slack triggers, using only the pages, databases, and apps explicitly granted to them. On August 7, Notion added a faster handoff from a page or database's Share menu.
Use Notion Agent for one-off research, page and database work, PDF analysis, and meeting scheduling under your existing permissions.
Run Custom Agents on schedules or Notion and Slack triggers, with explicit resource access, activity logs, and version history.
Share a useful doc or database to a Custom Agent directly from its Share menu, without visiting Agent settings.
Notion Agent is available on plans that include Notion AI. Custom Agents require Business or Enterprise and use Notion credits; the Share-menu shortcut is available in workspaces with Custom Agents.
Notion's move is quieter than Grok's, and maybe smarter: it turns an agent into something you share a doc with, from the same menu you already use for coworkers, instead of a settings page you have to dig up. That's how you get people to actually use these, by making an agent feel like one more collaborator on the doc. Once your team is running ten Custom Agents off Slack messages and schedules, the hard part won’t be building them, it will be keeping track of which one can see what.
