It's Wednesday, May 13th: Claude Code turns your terminal into a dashboard for parallel sessions, OpenAI's Daybreak finds and patches vulnerabilities in one pipeline, and Google's new Android intelligence layer ships this summer with multi-app agentic execution baked in.

In Today’s Top Tools, we spotlight some of the most innovative, creative AI apps that we recommend adding to your stack.

🖥️ Claude Code Agent View, the Multi-Session Dashboard for Builders

Claude Code just shipped a multi-agent command center inside your terminal. Type claude agents and you get a live dashboard showing every background session: what each one is working on, which ones are waiting for you, and what's done.

How It Works:

A background supervisor process runs all your sessions independently, each in its own isolated git worktree, so parallel agents never overwrite each other's changes. You monitor everything from a single table: peek at a session, reply inline, or press Enter to drop into the full conversation. Each row shows the session's live state with a one-line summary generated by a Haiku-class model and refreshed as the work progresses.

What You Can Do:

  • Dispatch a bug fix, a PR review, and a log investigation all at once from one screen: each runs in full isolation with its own worktree

  • Peek at any waiting session and send a reply without switching windows or breaking your flow on another task

  • Background a live conversation mid-stream with /bg and pick it back up from the same dashboard

  • Filter the session list by state — type s:blocked to surface every session waiting on you, or s:working to see what's still running

Get Started:

Run claude agents in your terminal — requires Claude Code v2.1.139 or later (check with claude --version). Included with your existing Claude Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise plan. Full documentation at code.claude.com/docs/en/agent-view.

🛡️ OpenAI Daybreak, AI-Powered Vulnerability Detection and Patch Validation

OpenAI launched Daybreak on May 11: a cyber defense platform that finds software vulnerabilities, generates code-level patches, and validates that the fix actually works, all without waiting for a human analyst to work through the backlog.

How It Works:

Daybreak uses GPT-5.5 and the Codex Security agent to build an editable threat model for your codebase, focused on realistic attack paths rather than generic CVE pattern matching. The agent runs exploit attempts in isolation to confirm what's actually exploitable, generates patches at the code level, and validates that each fix closes the attack vector before surfacing the result. The full pipeline cuts vulnerability analysis time from hours to minutes and returns audit-ready evidence directly to your systems.

What You Can Do:

  • Scan a repository for high-impact attack paths and get a prioritized report organized by exploitability, not just severity score

  • Generate and review AI-written patches for confirmed vulnerabilities directly from the Daybreak threat model

  • Validate that each proposed fix actually closes the attack vector in an isolated environment before it touches your production branch

  • Connect Daybreak to your CI/CD pipeline so new pull requests are scanned automatically on every push

Get Started:

Visit openai.com/daybreak to request access — OpenAI is onboarding enterprise partners first. Three model tiers at launch: GPT-5.5 for general enterprise, GPT-5.5 Trusted Access for defensive security workflows, and GPT-5.5-Cyber for authorized red-teaming. Pricing not yet public.

🚀 Humans in AI Week is coming.

This June, AIC is hosting 100+ events in one week, all built around a single question: what does it mean to be human in the AI era? It's the largest human-centered AI gathering we've ever run, across every chapter, on six continents.

📱 Gemini Intelligence for Android, Google's Agentic OS Layer Launching This Summer

Google announced Gemini Intelligence at The Android Show on May 12: AI woven into Android's own task execution layer. Starting summer 2026 on Samsung Galaxy and Pixel phones, it runs multi-step workflows across installed apps, builds home screen widgets from a plain-text description, and converts natural messy speech into clean polished messages.

How It Works:

Gemini Intelligence integrates with Android's native app layer and executes multi-step actions across multiple apps in a single chain: not just within one app at a time. Users confirm before any action is taken, so the AI acts as a coordinator rather than an autonomous executor. The same intelligence layer expands to Wear OS, Android Auto, glasses, and laptops later in 2026, making it a single development target across the entire Android device ecosystem.

What You Can Do:

  • Give Android a multi-app instruction: book a ride, find course materials, complete a checkout, and let it chain the steps across apps without manual switching

  • Describe a home screen widget in plain text using Create My Widget and have Android build and place it automatically, on phone and Wear OS

  • Dictate messages naturally: with filler words, self-corrections, and mid-sentence language switches, and have Rambler turn them into clean, polished text

  • Use Gemini in Chrome to compare prices, book appointments, or complete parking reservations from any website, no extra app required (rolling out late June)

Gemini Intelligence rolls out summer 2026 on the latest Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel phones, free with Android. Start building for the platform now at developer.android.com/ai.

✍️ REGISTER NOW: Ship LinkedIn Videos in Under 1 Hour

In our recent flagship session with Eileen Wu and Descript CEO Laura Burkhauser, there was strong interest in a more hands-on workshop for tech leaders to create video content quickly.

This next virtual session on Thursday, May 21 is designed as that next step. Join Eileen Wu (AI Collective, Mavryx) and Trevor Howell (Descript) at 12 PM PDT / 3 PM EDT.

You’ll leave with:

  • A repeatable setup that takes the busywork out of every video

  • Cleaner audio and tighter cuts without switching between tools

  • A version of you on camera that still sounds like you

  • A finished video ready to publish

If you missed our flagship conversation, you can find more takeaways here.

Join us to learn the workflow leaders are using to ship a LinkedIn video in under an hour.
