1️⃣ Exclusive: Notion's Turn to Agents

Notion is quietly pivoting from a workspace into a full-scale automation hub. Recently leaked builds show agents that run in the background, connect directly to other tools, and operate websites or apps when there is no API. Specifically, the platform is testing custom Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, user-managed Workers, and even "computer use" agents that can drive virtual machines and browsers.

This may be the start of Notion explicitly expanding from documents and databases into task execution.

2️⃣ Deloitte’s State of AI: The AI Velocity Paradox

Deloitte’s 2026 State of AI report shows how wide the gap still is between talking about AI and actually using it. Worker access to AI is up sharply this year, but only a quarter of AI pilots have made it into production. Most companies are still in the experimentation phase.

At the same time, nearly 3/4 of companies plan to deploy agentic systems in the next two years, while only a small minority have real governance in place. Companies are moving fast without the structure to support what they are building. The constraint is now becoming whether organizations are set up to run the kinds of systems they say they want.

🌁 SF Bay Area | Moonlake AI Game Jam w/ a16z

At a high-energy evening in San Francisco, The AI Collective teamed up with Moonlake AI and a16z for a first-of-its-kind “Game Jam” focused on the future of interactive world-building. The event brought together a dense circle of game programmers, engine architects, and researchers to explore Moonlake’s frontier reasoning models that enable “vibe coding” for 2D and 3D environments.

The session moved beyond traditional chat interfaces, offering a hands-on look at how natural language can be compiled into playable logic and real-time simulations. Attendees engaged in spontaneous world-building demos, emphasizing that the next era of gaming will be about the creative chaos of making ideas instantly interactive.

🏛️ Washington D.C. | AI & National Security w/American Security Project

In the heart of the nation’s capital, The AI Collective joined forces with the American Security Project (ASP) for a high-stakes dialogue on the “AI Imperative.” The gathering brought together a rare mix of defense policy experts, retired military flag officers, and AI builders to unpack the strategic competition between the U.S. and China.
