This Week at the Collective

Every Wednesday, we spotlight chapters doing incredible things with their members. This week’s issue captures the momentum of our global network over the last few weeks (beyond an amazing time at SF Tech Week).

🇧🇩 AI Collective Bangladesh Launch

The launch of AI Collective Bangladesh brought together educators, founders, and policymakers in Dhaka for a focused discussion on how Bangladesh can advance ethical and human-centric AI adoption. Mohammed Asif opened the event with a call to align innovation with trust and transparency, followed by a panel featuring Dr. Shamim Ahmed and Firoze M. Zahidur Rahman on AI’s role in education, development, and national policy.

The conversation emphasized collaboration across academia, industry, and government to draft a national AI policy strategy and promote the responsible integration of tools like ChatGPT in learning environments. Attendees left with a shared mandate to turn Bangladesh into a regional leader in applied, ethical AI.

🇪🇸 AI in Gaming 2026 with AI Collective Costa del Sol

The second edition of AI Collective Costa del Sol gathered iGaming executives, AI specialists, and startup founders in Marbella to discuss what the industry truly needs heading into 2026. The evening combined expert panels, networking, and a forward-looking conversation about how AI is transforming personalization, compliance, and game design across Europe’s digital entertainment sector.

Supported by partners createIT and Norma Franck, the event underscored the Costa del Sol’s growing role as a hub for applied AI in gaming and hospitality. The next meetup, part of the new Case Studies Series, takes place October 30.

🇨🇦 Toronto’s Code Blue: AI & Cybersecurity in Healthcare

Toronto’s Code Blue event brought together AI researchers, cybersecurity leaders, and healthcare founders to examine how to secure digital health systems as AI adoption accelerates. The panel, hosted at Highline Beta and supported by CyStack, explored threats such as model inversion, data poisoning, and compliance gaps that put sensitive patient data at risk.

Speakers emphasized that most vulnerabilities stem from weak governance and legacy infrastructure, not AI itself. They called for secure-by-design development and stronger data oversight from the start. The evening closed with practical steps for startups to embed privacy, resilience, and accountability into every stage of their AI products.
