🌄 Tri-Valley | AI & Her: Founders, Builders, and the Stories of Vision, Grit, and Growth

The AI Collective’s Tri-Valley chapter gathered founders, operators, and students at ZINFI Technologies for AI & Her, an evening led by Jessie Chen with support from Alice Leung, Gretchen Codus, Jia Gao, and Rosa Poon. Onstage, speakers traced the real stories behind their careers in AI, from student founder experiments to small business adoption and two decades of product and data leadership.
The conversation moved quickly from bios to tradecraft: how women leaders evaluate risk, set taste in an AI-heavy design landscape, and insist on human outcomes when tools keep changing. The most animated discussions came after the panel, as guests compared paths and made the case for women at the table designing responsible, commercially viable AI products. The chapter will continue the series with more women-led programming in the Tri-Valley, so stay tuned for more events soon!
🇸🇻 San Salvador | Vibecoding Lab: Build, Test, Flow

In San Salvador, The AI Collective El Salvador chapter turned their Vibecoding Lab into a working studio for people at every skill level. Hosted by Gilberto Balderas and Carol Monroe, the session walked participants from idea to live prototype using tools like Lovable, Supabase, and Cursor, with laptops open and projects built in real time.
Talks from Carol Monroe, Daniela Huezo, Steven Granados, and Walter Morales covered the full stack: translating a PRD into a Supabase-backed app, structuring prompts that actually hold up in practice, testing strategies that keep projects stable, and moving into more advanced Cursor-driven workflows. Attendees left with shipped artifacts, clearer mental models for AI-assisted development, and a local network they can build with. Future Vibecoding Labs will deepen the technical track while keeping opportunities open to non-technical builders.
🗽 NYC | More Than Machines: The People Shaping the Future of AI

New York’s More Than Machines brought together founders, investors, and students in Hell’s Kitchen for a packed panel and demo night hosted by The AI Collective and NYU’s Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship. The AI Collective NYC chapter team convened leaders from LangChain, Google, M13, Stifel Venture Banking, Pupil, Yeego.ai, CentaurLab.AI, and The Vertical, with Viki Han moderating a candid conversation on where AI is really headed.
The panel stayed grounded in practice: how AI is reshaping education, finance, and media, and what it means to keep humans and communities at the center of those systems. Afterward, live demos from Yeego.ai, Civic, Connxn, and others turned abstract themes into working products, with founders trading feedback in every corner of the room. The NYC chapter closed the night by inviting attendees into upcoming demo nights and deeper roles in the Collective’s university and city programs.

👷♂️ Building an AI-Powered Operating System for Global Scale

AIC is entering a phase where manual systems can’t keep up with our global momentum. The question isn’t if we need an AI-powered operating system — it’s how fast we can build one flexible enough for a decentralized, fast-moving, mission-driven organization.
Why This Matters
We operate with a globally distributed network of part-time volunteers.
Tools must be intuitive, flexible, and instantly adoptable.
Growth is accelerating internationally — friction must be near zero.
Chapters need templates they can adapt in minutes, not weeks.
We stay vendor‑agnostic and future‑proof as the ecosystem evolves.
Our operating budget is lean, so our stack must deliver enterprise power at community scale.
Huge thanks to everyone advancing this shared system — especially David, Aman, and Xavier — and to our partners at Lamatic.ai, whose platform powers key parts of our operating OS.

Our Premier Partner: Roam

AI is forcing a choice between two futures of work. In one, automation supercharges 996 hustle culture – shorter cycles, borderless teams, relentless ambition. In the other, the same technology returns time – 4-day weeks, deeper creativity, and purpose-led work.
Join leading CEOs, researchers, and builders for a high-signal debate on how intelligent systems are reshaping productivity, culture, and the human contract with work. We’ll move past hot takes to examine what the next era truly looks like – and who it benefits.
We’d love to see you in the Roam Theater for our upcoming webinar on the future of work, later today!
