It's Wednesday, May 20th. This week Notion turned your workspace into a runtime outside agents can plug into, while Anthropic went the opposite direction — letting Claude's agents run on your own infrastructure through self-hosted sandboxes. Plus: sign up for Eazo's Global Hackathon this weekend, 5/23–5/24, before sign-ups close tomorrow, 5/21.

BEFORE YOU SCROLL

🤔💭 ThinkingAI Presents: Agentic Engine

In Silicon Valley, AI-native companies are seen as having an edge because they're not in a position of having to reconcile their legacy systems with new AI systems and workflows. But bringing your enterprise into the Agentic AI era shouldn't be a Herculean task.

At ThinkingAI, our mission is for every enterprise to achieve growth by leveraging the newest AI technology.

Whether you're looking for ways to increase revenue or user retention, Agentic Engine offers enterprises a flexible way to deploy specialized AI agents directly into your workflows that are custom built for these purposes. You can choose from our pre-built agents, which come packaged with hundreds of skills, backed by 10 years of proven business intelligence experience, or use Agentic Engine's no-code solution to build your own.

Perform autonomous operations with agents who know the full context of your business, all while knowing that your data is fully secure thanks to our self-hosted solution where your data never leaves your environment.

TOOL SPOTLIGHT

🖥️ Notion Turns The Workspace Into A Runtime For Outside Agents

Image from Notion

Notion shipped its Developer Platform on May 13, letting any AI agent run code, read documents, and write into databases through the workspace. The workspace becomes a runtime, not a destination.

About the Tool
  • Run a daily Claude job that pulls invoices from Gmail into a Notion finance database.

  • Let Cursor write structured release notes into a public Notion page after every deploy.

  • Sync a Notion CRM with Stripe or HubSpot bidirectionally without writing integration glue.

Free during beta with a one-click signup. Workers move to Notion credits starting August 11.

TOOL SPOTLIGHT

🛡️ Anthropic Moves Claude's Agents Onto Your Own Infrastructure

Image from Anthropic

Anthropic shipped Claude Managed Agents updates on May 19. Self-hosted sandboxes let agents execute tool calls inside your own infrastructure, and MCP tunnels reach private databases without exposing them publicly. The model walks into your network, not the reverse.

About the Tool
  • Run sensitive agent workloads on Cloudflare, Daytona, Modal, or Vercel while Anthropic handles orchestration.

  • Give agents read access to internal databases and APIs through encrypted MCP tunnels with no public endpoints.

  • Replicate the reliability of a cloud agent without sending tool execution to Anthropic's servers.

Self-hosted sandboxes are in public beta; MCP tunnels are in research preview with request access required.

GLOBAL HACKATHON THIS WEEKEND

🚀 EAZO Global Hackathon 2026 — $300K Prize Pool, 253 Teams Win (May 23-24)

Hurry - don’t wait to register before slots fill up!

Most hackathons end at Demo Day. EAZO Global Hackathon 2026 ends when real users stop coming back. Eazo is running a 48-hour hackathon May 23–24 across SF, New York, Shanghai, and globally online, structured around a different belief about what a hackathon is for: not the pitch, the product.

What makes this hackathon unique:

  • Every submission goes live on Eazo Mobile the moment it's submitted. 50% of the final score comes from public votes, 40% from an expert panel, 10% from peer review. A team that never makes Demo Day can still win if their product is good enough that people keep using it.

  • No code, no servers, no deployment — Eazo Creator handles the full stack automatically.

  • Submitted apps stay live on Eazo community permanently. Anyone can remix them, and qualifying apps earn ongoing revenue share through the Eazo Skills marketplace.

  • Five tracks: Superparent (family coordination, memory, decision-making), AI Companion (companionship, emotional support, focus tools — including ADHD/ASD communities), Life OS (personal planning and productivity), Body Intelligence (health, fitness, body awareness), and Wildcard (open, experimental, cross-disciplinary).

Eazo Creator handles the technical work, so the only requirement to compete is an idea worth building. 253 teams will take home prize money out of a $300,000 pool, and 1,000+ builders have already registered!

Register in your city: San Francisco · New York · Shanghai · Online / Global. Don’t wait - registration closes May 21.

In this section, we feature a few standout opportunities leading AI companies, non-profits, policy groups, and other organizations.
