It's Wednesday, April 1st: This week, builders can turn their screen into a searchable memory, run OpenAI's Codex as a code reviewer inside Claude Code, and deploy autonomous sales reps that research prospects and book meetings without supervision.
Head over to our Events Portal to get the latest on upcoming AI Collective events near you. Search by city, date, or event format, and join thousands of builders at events across 100+ chapters on every continent (except Antarctica, for now).

In Today’s Top Tools, we spotlight some of the most innovative, creative AI apps that we recommend adding to your stack.
🤝 Codex Plugin, OpenAI's Coding Assistant Now Works Inside Claude Code

OpenAI released an official plugin that puts its Codex coding assistant directly inside Claude Code, Anthropic's AI-powered developer tool. Developers can now run Codex code reviews, get an adversarial second opinion on their work, or hand off a stuck problem to Codex without switching tools. Released March 30, 2026, the plugin crossed 5,500 GitHub stars in under 48 hours. Free with a ChatGPT account, including the free tier.
The plugin adds three core abilities to Claude Code: a standard code review, an adversarial review that challenges design decisions and pokes at assumptions, and a rescue mode that hands a stubborn problem to Codex entirely for a fresh pass. A "Review Gate" option holds Claude Code from committing any changes until Codex has signed off.
Every review runs on OpenAI's servers and uses the Codex credentials already on your machine. No second login. Installation takes four commands inside Claude Code, and usage counts toward your existing Codex limits.
Free to use with a ChatGPT account, including the free tier. Requires Node.js 18.18 or later. Open source under Apache 2.0 at openai/codex-plugin-cc. The latest release is v1.0.2 (March 31, 2026).
🚀 Cockpit AI, Sales Agents That Research and Book on Their Own

An autonomous revenue agent that researches prospects, writes personalized outreach across email and LinkedIn, and books meetings without human intervention. Each agent spends 200,000 tokens researching a batch of prospects before writing a single word of outreach. Launched on Product Hunt March 27, ranked #5 on launch day with 300+ upvotes.
Cockpit AI deploys agents that research your prospects' competitors, hiring patterns, funding rounds, and market shifts, then pick the most relevant angle for each individual contact. One user can manage 10 agents running around the clock across channels.
When a prospect responds on any channel, follow-ups on all other channels pause instantly. No duplicate messages, no crossed wires. The platform sends from your company's own domain and includes automated email warmup and anti-spam protection.
Originally founded in 2017 as Kalendar AI, backed by 500 Global and Village Global with angels including Eric Ries (The Lean Startup). Free tier available. The company claims users scale from 20 to 200 personalized emails per week.
🐦 Littlebird, the AI That Already Knows What You're Working On

A macOS AI assistant that quietly reads the text on your screen all day long. Littlebird tracks what you're working on across Slack, email, docs, and meetings, then lets you ask questions about your own workday in plain language. It comes with built-in meeting transcription, automated daily briefings, and cross-app search. The company just raised $11M from Lotus Studio, with angels including Lenny Rachitsky (Lenny's Newsletter) and Scott Belsky (Adobe CPO).
Littlebird captures structured text from every app on your screen, building a searchable record of your workday. It uses roughly 90% less storage than screenshot-based tools like Microsoft Recall because it stores text, which takes up a fraction of the space.
The Routines feature lets you set automated prompts on a schedule. Think daily briefings, weekly summaries, or a recap of yesterday's work. Your AI already has answers before you think to ask. Meeting transcription runs in the background via system audio in 10+ languages.
Free tier available. Plus at $20/month adds unlimited chats and meeting notes. SOC 2 certified, GDPR compliant, and your data is never used to train models. macOS only for now, Windows on a waitlist.
